Birthday Mini Session | Aiea Family Photographer

Every once in a while, I think back to 3.5 years ago when my OB called to let us know we had some unfavorable, scary genetic test results. This kid has kept us busy from that moment on, but I can’t imagine our family without this wild thing. Rhett is so excited about his birthday this year. He requested the beach, “McDonalds in my mouth” and ice cream with candles. Happy 3rd birthday, big boy!

First Grade... here we go! We got dressed, ate breakfast, posed for pictures and then I dropped him off at the kitchen table to start online school.

We found the Rainbow Tunnel! | Aiea Family Photographer

The iconic Rainbow Tunnel was on our “To See” list since we moved here. With the beaches and hikes closed, it seemed like the perfect Aloha Friday adventure. The tunnel is located in a Mililani neighborhood, and admittedly, much smaller than I thought it was going to be. It seems so grand in pictures. I found that the trick was to put the boys just inside of the tunnel so that we could use every inch and ring of color. It was very bright outside and very dark in the tunnel which made it a challenge to shoot in, but I love these pictures. You'll also notice somebody (Mr Rhett) brought their A-game with poses.

A very two year old session | Kualoa Park Family Session

My first session in Hawaii couldn’t have been more fun! This two year old didn’t make it easy on me, but honestly those sessions are really fun to deliver. Most of the evening was spent chasing this wild man around, but the end results are so sweet. And can we talk about this location?!? The best of what Hawaii has to offer and it did not disappoint!
