It is extremely humbling to have a family drive over an hour for a session. We had the perfect Charleston evening and the happiest big sister there ever was! I could have previewed 100 pictures.
I first met this family when we celebrated their son’s first birthday with a cake smash session. We got together again right before Thanksgiving to take some updated pictures of their growing boy and mom whispered in my ear that she was pregnant. I was thrilled to work with this sweet family again as they prepare to welcome their second son this spring. I bet he will be just as handsome as his big brother.
Mom picked the Battery area of downtown Charleston for her session because, let’s be real, it’s just so pretty. We had beautiful light, window boxes spilling with flowers and we even saw dolphins swimming in the harbor. It was the BEST Charleston evening.
The cool morning gave way to a beautiful evening. And our night ended with dolphins playing super close in the harbor so you know it was a good night.
Constant rain caused us to change the date of this session so many times, but we were rewarded with the best afternoon. My last session of 2018 was amazing and I am so thankful to end the year with such a kind couple. I cannot wait to meet this little girl in a few months.
