I adore the ease of in-home newborn sessions. This little man was a breeze to photograph too. He spent the first part of his session awake, checking everything out. After a quick feed, he snoozed the rest of the time I was there.
BUT...
This dog, Blue, was not about to be upstaged by this new little human living in his home.
This sweet boy came in for his mini session at 15 days old.
He was not too keen on going to sleep. Most of his newborn session was done with him open-eyed and wide awake, which is fine because look how adorable he is!
His nursery is elephant themed and it'll be so much fun to recreate this picture as he gets older. You'll really be able to see his growth.
He took a little nap for a few shots. Look how sweet he is!

I said my final goodbye and walked to my car feeling inspired and grateful for the wonderful people I get to work with. A fresh baby, a new mom, excited grandparents, and morning light will do that to you.
