She wouldn't have anything to do with me when we first started the session. By the end, I got this. One of my favorite pictures to date.

Waiting for Baby | Summerville, South Carolina
Some people are just born to be mothers and this glowing mom to (almost) 4 babies is one of them! She braved a morning at the park with 3 little ones to document her current pregnancy without batting an eyelash.
First Look | Downtown Charleston Proposal
A weekend away in Charleston, South Carolina turned into a night she would never forget.
Baby at the Beach | Folly Beach, South Carolina
This particular morning at Folly Beach was pretty amazing. It was overcast which gave the beach a smooth, pastel look. Baby P was a trooper despite cutting several teeth and she really came out of her shell once we let her enjoy some freedom. Eating sand and crawling all over the beach - a perfect morning for this sweet thing.
Want to book a beach session for your little? Don't wait! They're only this little once. Email me: ashleigh@followingseasphotography.com so we can start planning!
First Look | Folly Beach Maternity Session | Charleston Maternity Photographer
This beautiful momma is 37 weeks with a sweet baby boy. We meet up at Folly Beach for a quick maternity session before the little guy makes his arrival!
River Family Session | Columbia, South Carolina | Columbia Family Photographer
Trip and I drove up to Columbia from Charleston to photograph his Aunt's family last weekend. It hadn't rained in Columbia in forever, but, as fate would have it, a huge thunderstorm threatened our session. We moved the meeting time up and hoped for the best. In true southern fashion, it was HOT and sunny. As we wrapped up on the bridge the thunder started rolling in the distance. By the time we pulled out of the parking lot it was a down pour. Talk about good luck!
The last series of pictures with the sisters will always make me laugh. We had to get creative to make sure pokemon go-ers weren't in the frame and I did end up having to photoshop a few out. Apparently there is a gym on this paved trail. That was a first for me.
Following Seas Photography is available to travel to Columbia, SC for maternity, lifestyle newborn, outdoor milestone and family picture sessions. Please contact me today to discuss your session.
Hampton Park Family Session | Charleston Family Photography
We are newly back to Charleston and I guess I had forgotten about the infamous "pop up summer storm". What started as a beautiful day quickly turned into a black-cloud evening in West Ashley. Ashley and I (in case you're confused... mom's name is Ashley, my name is Ashleigh and we both live in West Ashley. Got it? Ha!) decided we would head downtown and see what happened. I was thrilled when I pulled into Hampton Park and was greeted by beautiful sunshine!
After the first pose, I could already tell this family's love was going to translate beautifully on print. The boys were as sweet as could be and interested in two things - running and loving on their momma. We chatted about their new home, our Georgia connections and their upcoming vacation. As I'm sure you can tell from the pictures, they were a dream family to work with!
First Look | Milk Bath | Charleston Child Photographer
All I can say is that it just felt necessary to do a cereal milk bath with my son :)
River Family Session | Columbia, SC Family Photographer
We enjoyed a hot Columbia evening on the river with this crazy crew!
